Javorca is a poetic collection by Leon Oblak, a Slovene poet. It is meant as a literary celebration of the Memorial Church of the Holy Spirit at Javorca near Tolmin, which is a secessional wooden church financed and built by Austro-Hungarian soldiers during World War 1.

The collection itself is an exploration of themes of war, loss, yearning, meaning(lessness), love and human error. The verses in Slovene followed a strict metrical pattern which we successfuly conserved when rendering into the English language. The verses were minimally adapted in content to better suit the tone of the English language. The poetic collection was published by Mohorjeva družba in 2023. Aong with the verses, we also translated two forewords.
